I purchased the new USB backup/restore solution with the hope of saving some
time backing up our site P81 Solaris 8 stations .
I setup the USB drive as per the supplied instructions and tried the on-line
and off-line backup (using USB 2.0).
The backup's worked however they were both much slower than the old SCSI tape
drive backup.
Called TAC and there appears to be no performance data available. I would
expect the USB 2.0 to be faster than the tape backup.
If anyone has any experience, ideas or info they could share that would be
great.
