This is kind of a strange question for a Foxboro users group, but I know a lot
of you are Triconex customers, and I'm hoping some of that subset have
experience with both Triconex and Honeywell.
I've heard that Triconex has two interfaces to Experion, both OPC. One is a
Matrikon OPC interface, and the other is "embedded". Our LA refinery has
experience with the Matrikon interface, but they would like some more
information on the "embedded" solution to see if that is something they would
want to implement. If anybody has any information, please send me that
off-line. I don't want to eat up any more bandwidth on the list discussing
those who should not have been named.
Thanks,
Tim
