Hello List,
I would like some advice regarding starting an AIM Historian Instance
through a VT100 unix command instead of using the historian manager
graphical user interface.
I use helpful hint HH1001 "Restarting AIMHistorian" from TAC often to
stop and restart my AIM*Historian processes without rebooting an AW51D
box. I use a thin-client "go-global" when working remotely.
Unfortunately, I'm unable to perform the last step "open histmanager and
turn the instance on" without opening the histmanager graphical user
interface. If I open the gui through either the vt100
/opt/aim/bin/histmgr command or the config menu selection, the gui pops
up on the AW in front of the operator instead of the goglobal thin
client screen that I'm using.
Thank you for any help.
