Hello,
I know this is not a true Fox I/A system questions but it is related.
I have an early vintage ESSCOR simulator for a Foxboro V6.1 system.
The disk drive recently failed on the instructor's station, a Sparc 5.
I had some warning about the failure so I have a good set of backup
tapes made with ufsdump. I also have access to several old Foxboro
Sparc 5's to scrounge parts from. I would like to know what the
correct procedure is for installing a used drive and restoring my old
system to it using the dump tapes. I did a quick search in the
archives and on docs.sun.com and did not find much so I hope someone
out there in the ether can give me a hand. Thanks.
