[foxboro] SNMP service

This is mostly for the Invensys folks on the list, but if anybody else
knows, please chime in.
Recently, I was installing the Invensys "smoke-tested" Microsoft Windows
XP SP2 security patches on a test bed P92, and I noticed that one of the
patches would not run because SNMP was not installed on the box. Also,
one of our sites is trying to use OSI PI's IT Monitor, and they cannot
interrogate the P92's (which are on both the MESH and a separate
Engineering LAN - they are only using the Engineering LAN for IT
Monitor). I'm assuming this is also because SNMP is not installed and
running.
Is their an official stance by Invensys on loading and running SNMP on
the P90, P91 and P92 machines? I tried searching the IPS web site for
SNMP and did not find anything that was helpful.
Thanks,
Tim Lowell
