Hi All,
We have AW51D wherein streamer Tape and RAID were connected directly during
one of our FAT and it was working fine. After FAT the system was shipped to
site and when we connected the same AW with the Tape Drive and then RAID
Hard Disk,
the AW wasnot booting up. It was giving some error message like "PCI card
error". It
was continuously try to re-boot and drops down with this error message. Then
we removed the Tape Drive and connected the RAID directly. We still had the
same problem. We had a doubt on one of the SCSI cable. After replacing the
cable it was working fine. We are thinking of installing a new PCI card to
connect tape drive because customer is insisting us to connect tape drive to
take backup.Could you please suggest whether it is necessary to install
seperate
PCI to connect tape drive or is it still possible to connect tape drive with
RAID
as was done before.
regards
suman
