[foxboro] R: AB30FT and Control Logix PLC

Suzi,
I was involved in setting up communication between I/A and Control =
Logix, but with FBM224 (modbus), not AB30FT.
The problem we faced was that, by default, communication is REDUNDANT, =
not FT. In other words, every time only one line can reply to DCS =
queries.

What is the configuration of your Control Logix?

Hello.

Has anyone set up communication between AB30FT and Control Logix PLC in
Redundancy configuration ?

AB30FT communicating with only one PLC works fine.. The problem is when
we have 2 Control Logix.

Has anyone tried this?
Any other suggestions? The customer is willing to change hardware if
necessary to keep the original idea that was to have PLC in redundancy
configuration "talking with" our System.

Thank you

Suzi
