[foxboro] Moving old shell scripts to the new 8.3 Windows box.

We are moving from a 4.3/51B system to the 8.3/P91s.
 
We have a couple of scripts that run to generate and then print the shift 
reports. This system has worked great for years....
 
Now when we move it over to the windows box they tell me we will lose these 
(non Foxboro = no support) scripts.
 
I have set up the correct folders and files on the new box. I need to set 
crontab (crontab is what trigger them on the old system) to trigger them, and 
change the script to do a windows print function instead of the lp -d function.
 
What am I missing, this seems too easy, and what is the windows print function 
???
