[foxboro] Lock-up due to CSA server dying, QF1003660

We recently experienced a problem with operator display stations locked
up due to an untimely death of the CSA_SERVER process (twice, actually).
There's a quick fix issued for a CAR for this condition, QF1003660
(http://ips.csc.invensys.com/content/qfhtm/qf1003660.htm).

The problem is, this QF is specifically for I/A v6.3 on Solaris.
Somebody else asked whether this QF can be installed on a 6.4 system,
and the answer was a guarded yes, with some hedging
(http://ips.csc.invensys.com/content/CARs/CusCars/IACars/sqlCARs/1004205
.htm).

Our system is at v6.2.1 Solaris. Is there a comparable QF for this
problem for 6.2.1 systems? I've searched the CSC web site, of course,
but did not find what I needed to know.

On another angle, the CSA server is running on our lone XP AW at I/A
V7.0, and has been running without any problem for nearly two years. Now
all of a sudden, the CSA_SERVER process died twice in two days. Well, it
appeared to have died. In haste, we didn't check to see if the
CSA_SERVER process was still running or not when all the lock-ups took
place.

I'd appreciate any information regarding this QF, or the CSA_SERVER
process dying.

Regards,

Duc
