[foxboro] Linux and blink_task problems



I am currently running IA version 6.1.2 and have finally found time to play
about with Linux after seeing the X-terminal setup information on here.
I have managed to get Linux to log into the IA system via telnet and can get a
display manager if my Linux colours are set to anything MORE than 256 (I can see
only outline and faint text but its there).
 If I set colours to 256 I get an error message that reads :-

Fatal error 0: XAllocColorCells
/usr/fox/wp/bin/blink_task: Color initialization failed

blink_task (pid = 681) :  INIT_FAILED
blink_task (pid = 681) :  SIGHUP
blink_task (pid = 681) :  GOT_SIGNALLED

Connection closed by foreign host

I then get no display manager.

I am using Linux Mandrake does this make any difference?

 Any ideas of things I can try will be most appreciated.
