[foxboro] IS isolators & FBM246

Gentlemen:
We are installing a new system with FBM246 and IS isolator P&F
KFD2-STC1-EX1. These isolators are the same we have on FBM46 and have worked
for 10 years, but now with 200´s line FBM it seems they don't work any more,
even thought TAC said they are good. Have some of you had the same problem? How
did you resolve it?
We did several tests but the only way to communicate an intelligent transmitter
to the FBM is without isolators. We moved the connection, with the isolator in
between, from the original FBM246 channel to a FBM43 channel in a neighbor
cabinet and it communicated perfect.
TAC suggested replace TA to the one designed for IS applications, the only
difference is it does´t have a 51 ohms serial resistor. We bypassed the
resistor and the result was the same than with it, it does´t communicate.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Kind Regards
Claudio Pérez
