Hi All,
I am trying to remove a directory of size 19997184, when I do so, the
"rm" commands uses almost 80% of the CPU time which makes the system
very very slow which affect the whole network. This directory hosts
files from a program called alm2unix which collects data and passes it
to a remote site.
Is there any command or way to delete all those files accumulated in the
directory without affecting the system performance?
Your help is always appreciated.
