[foxboro] How to permanently change the subnet and default gateway for 2nd ethernet port on AW51( B and F styles)

I have changed the subnet mask and default gateway on my 2nd Ethernet port
on AW51B style machine with I/A version 4.3. I used the /etc/route command
to change the default gateway. 

My intended subnet mask is 255.255.255.224

But when the machine reboots it loses both it's setting.

How to make these changes permanent. 

Also is the procedure same for the AW51F running I/A version 7.1.1
