[foxboro] How to move a FCP online from one Switch to another Switch?

Dear experts,

what's the best way to move a FCP270 online from one switch to another?

Online means that an Operator on a AW should be able to see all Object
Manager / Compound:Block.Parameter values hosted on that FCP.

a scenario could be:

= redundant connection
- single connection

step 1 "current situation"

                                +==>ATS<==>NCNI<==>Switch<==>RCNI<==>AW
on the Nodebus
                                |
AW on the Mesh <==> Root-Switch <==>SW<===>FCP

step 2 "remove the connection from the FCP to one of the two redundant
switches"

                                +==>ATS<==>NCNI<==>Switch<==>RCNI<==>AW
on the Nodebus
                                |
AW on the Mesh <==> Root-Switch <==>SW<--->FCP

step 3 "connect the FCP to another switch"

                                +==>ATS<==>NCNI<==>Switch<==>RCNI<==>AW
on the Nodebus
                                |
AW on the Mesh <==> Root-Switch <==>SW<--->FCP
                          +                 |
                          |-----------------|

step 4 "move the other connection the other switch"

                                +==>ATS<==>NCNI<==>Switch<==>RCNI<==>AW
on the Nodebus
                                |
AW on the Mesh <==> Root-Switch <==>SW
                          +
                          |<==============>FCP

step 5 "reset the failed FCP module so that it marries again"

Is it possible and supported to do that?

Regards,
Andreas
