Doing the following allows ia_install to run. Unfortunately, since I used
the "Sun4.2G" name it partitions the drive using 3880 cyl, etc. This drive
has 6240 cyl, etc. and although it runs it is partitioned incorrectly so it
won't work. I looked through the lists available and didn't find a drive
setup that would work. I listed the steps below for anyone interested.
1. boot from cd
2. cd /tmp
3. # format
4. format> pick choice "other"
5. format> configure drive with correct info, in my case 6240 cyl, alt 2, hd
8, sec 178, left all other questions default, name "SUN4.2G"
6. format> pick partition
7. partition> set backup partition as backup, wm, 0, 6240c
8. partition> name "SUN4.2G"
9. partition> label
10. partition> quit
11. format> save
