We have a node with mixed version 7 version 6 machines one it. There are 2
historians on it. One is hosted on a version 6 AP51B station, and the other
one is hosted on a version 7 AW51F.
This morning i shut the AW down to do a backup. An operator called up a
faceplate with a trend on it that used information from the historian on
the AW. This caused that display manage instance to "hang" for over a
minute. The machine he was using is a version 6 dual headed machine. We
were able to change screens on the 2nd head.
has anyone seen this behavior? Is there a fix for it? I'd almost say that I
don;t dare backup the AW if it's going to lock up the operator workstations
for that long.
The versions are 7.1 and 6.5 on F and B boxes BTW.
