[foxboro] Gateway Processor 30 (GW30) - P0960HA

Hi list,

I have a Gateway Processor 30  (AB Integrator 30) that connects to a very r=
emote Allen Bradley PLC5/40E.

The setup;
A remote PLC5/40E(controller) connects via DB25  to a modem which via data =
line( 2 pair) connects to another modem. This modem via DB25 connects to an=
other modem which connects to a PBX( Private Switch Exchange) at the remote=
 end. The remote end PBX connects to another PBX at the plant site via a 10=
 GB microwave link. The plant site PBX via data line connects to a modem wh=
ich via DB25 connects to a Selector Switch (P0970VN), which via a P0500UX c=
able connects to the Gateway Processor 30 (GW30). Thus remote pumps can be =
controlled in DCS.

The problem;
*       Primary ECB ok - on line and on scan
*       Bad I/O on DCS - Cyan color.....(COMMS LOSS)
*       ECB15 is on line but off scan and dev_fail
*=09

Checked all cables to be ok. The funny thing is from here(plant site) using=
 RSlogix (AB software for PLC5/40) I can remotely connect to the controller=
 but not on the DCS. Did couple of reboots...no help. Reloaded the save_all=
=2E..still no help. Tried connecting a spare PLC5/40E locally and still sam=
e problem. Now I've order a new Gateway Processor 30  (AB Integrator 30) an=
d am waiting for it's arrivial.

Probably, somethings I've missed whilst checking and trouble shooting, I do=
n't know. I would very much appreciate your help.
