[foxboro] Font properties meaning

Does anybody can help me to understand the meaning of each fields of a font 
definition ??? 

 -adobe-helvetica-bold-r-normal--12-120-75-75-p-70-iso8859-1 

..  -adobe-helvetica      ...... is the font name ?
..  -bold
..  -r                     ?????
..  -normal                dimension ???
..  --12-120-75-75-p-70-iso8859-1 .... ????? 

i've to manage fonts of an application running on solaris to make them more 
visible (now are too little)
