[foxboro] FF

Dear ALL
Merry christmas and happy new year.
I have a question in the FF through ICC fbm 220. does NI card needs a DD 
file to communicate with fbm?
IF the Fbm is configured wrongly or something wrong with DCS configuration 
should I still read from the transmitter.
What if in the Resource block I have this alarm message block_err 
LostNVDATA|OOS so I am douting a faulty transmitter any recommendations
