What are the choices in having a FCP control baebplates that are located
more than a few feet away from the FCP? I understand it is possible to
remote (using fiber I assume) baseplates using some new modules, right> what
are the constraints on doing this. Can I go from the FCP to an intermediate
location, then go on to a 3rd location? if so what hardware would I need?

One of the main causes of the fall of the roman empire was that, lacking
zero, they had no way to indicate successful termination of their C
programs.
