[foxboro] FCM10E

Dear listers and Foxboro spies,

I believe that we've been seriously let down by Foxboro.

Some really bright cookie at Foxboro decided that with the
discontinuation of the CP60 they might as well discontinue the FCM10E.

This has taken away our upgrade path to the 200 series FBMs

We have just completed the replacement of CP30s to CP60s and have
already purchased some FCM10Es and base plates to progressively move to
the 200 series I/O.

[Rant mode on]

Well, thank you very much Foxboro for shutting down our upgrade plans.
How dumb can you get to do this? Do you really don't give a damn about
your customers? We are going to be stuck in yesteryears for a long time
now.

And don't come with this half baked in between solution that's more like
a dumb excuse for this whoopsie that uses fibre converters at 10 of
thousands of dollars more than we had budgeted for.

Just give us the FCM10Es so we can get on with our life.

[Rant mode off]

Anyone else in the predicament?

Cheers,

Frits Schouten.

NZSteel.

Note to self: take a deep breath, take a deep breath and calm down. If
that doesn't help, seek medical help.
