[foxboro] Error code -271 problem

Mr. Russ,
We have been used HH528 to perform a tbcheck to add space but it fix the
problem for a few months and the alarm reoccurred again .
so that I need a solution making the historian automatically delete the oldest
reduction samples.
Thanks,
Ayman

Posssibly running out of Informix space.
Use HH528 to perform a tbcheck and then add space using tbspaces.

Although ususally the above gives different errors on system printer...

We are experiencing a problem with our legacy historian (IA Box 6.1.2
AW51E).
We get a system alarm with an error code -271 (Fox Doc said that Could not
insert new row into the table.).
This alarm repeated hourly at the 5th minute.
This the time of creating an our_val reduction group we tried to solve the
problem by :
Stopped and started the reduction groups via the "clr start" option from
historian scheduler.
But the problem repeated again after few months.
It supposed that the historian automatically delete the old reduction in
order to maintain the size of assigned space is it true?
I would appreciate if anybody has an insight into this kind of
problem.
Regards ,
Ayman
