[foxboro] Environment files

Hi list,
 

I'm looking for the documentation that describes the configuration of the 
environment files. Particularly, I'm interesting about the use of PICK1 
variable inside of these files. Let me put some example:

 

dmcmd button 1 Detail   ""dmcmd stddisp $$PICK1""

dmcmd button 2 Select  "dmcmd stddisp"

 

I know that this is the correct way, but I need to know why in the first line 
we have to use two doubles quotes.
