Hello:
We had a MG30 communicating with 2 Siemens PLC through BlackBox RS-232 to
RS-485/422 converters model IC108A.
There were 3 x IC108A ? one at MG30 side and the other 2 at the PLC side (one
at each PLC).
Everyhting worked ok; however we had to upgrade one PLC and replaced one of the
BlackBox IC108A by a ET200S ModBus/ProfiBus module.
After that we started to have problems w/ communication:
If we connect bus A and B we have no communication w/ both PLCs.
If we disconnect Bus A we have communication w/ both PLCs but we have an alarm
in Bus B in one of the PLCs.
If we disconnect Bus B we have communication w/ both PLCs but we have an alarm
in Bus A in one of the PLCs.
We would like to know if:
- someone has experience w/ ET200S that could be useful in this case.
- has a manual of ET200S (Siemens does not have it at the web) that could be
sent to us.
Thanks in advance
ELIDIO Diniz
