[foxboro] Dell Mice (Was: USB disgust)

The mice are DELL two button + scroll wheel optical mice.
 
On the back there is the following part number like codes:
 
M/N: MO56UO
D P/N: 0D1161
P/N: 20-15601DL01
 
The later two are on a sticker.

We are having the same issue, but not as often as you appear to be
having. We just accept that we have to reboot occasionally (once or
twice a week). Would love to know of a better solution.
We also have issue with the SUN supplied ball mice. Ball mice went out
with the ark, especially in a dirty industrial environment!! We have
found Microsoft USB optical mice don't work, but Dell optical mice do.
