[foxboro] CP40B's

Hi All

I am thinking of doing a Six Sigma kind of study and analysis on the
failures of CP40B's. So for that I would require as much data as possible.

Therefore I am requesting all of you generous folks on the list, to share
with me the following information.


- What kinda failures you have had pertaining to CP40B's, i.e. the error
messages, possible causes, changes if any done before & after the failure.
- I/A Version, Controller OS Version, Controller Hardware Revision,
Controller Firmware Revision Level, Host Station Type etc etc
- Type of installation, environment, earthing ...
- CAR Raised ...
- Controller loading, peer-to-peer connections on same or different Nodes.

I know what I am asking for is too much, but most of you must have filled
the "CP Failure Information CheckList", and also probably the state or
record of SMDH Counters. So if I could have that too.... (Please send
off-list only).

I assure you of one thing, that any information you send will be treated as
confidential, and only used for this study of mine.

Needless to say, once this is completed, I'd be glad to share the same.
