The second ethernet Hostnames are in /.rhosts on all AWs

There is one file named .rhosts this file enables the machines to trust =
one=20
another. if your second ethernet card is there then you can do the rcp, =
rsh,=20
rlogin any remote function so check this.
may be this is the reason. check and see
