[foxboro] [ADMIN] what's your subscribed address?

Folks,
I'm going to try to say this as diplomatically as I can, but listen up out
there and pay attention to your e-mail address(es). To a computer,
jblow@xxxxxxxxxxx is not the same as joe.blow@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, or even
joe_blow@xxxxxxxxxxxx Not even close!
Without pointing any finger, I've seen a *lot* of confusion from people with
foxboro.com and invensys.com addresses. (Okay, so I did point the finger.
Sorry!) And instead of giving you a fish, I'll try to get you to fish for
yourself this one time in figuring out with which address you're subscribed
to the list.
If you subscribed to the list using one address, make sure you use that
address to send postings to the list as well as to make admin requests.
Otherwise the system will drive you mad telling you that you cannot post or
unsusbcribe since you're not a subscriber, yet you cannot subscribe since
you're already on the list.
This confusion is the reason you're advised to keep that welcome message you
receive when you subscribe to the list -- but I suspect this advice is too
late for many people already.
Regards,
Duc
