[foxboro] ABGateway, AW51 w/AB PLC, and MCIN blocks

Hey Everybody,
Long time no post! (Which means things are good, I guess.)
I have run across an unusual problem and thought some of you might have
already seen/solved it.
Here's the background...
I am building some displays for use with a lot of MCIN blocks coming from a
ABGW30. These FoxView displays lend themselves to using the BITSTATE
parameters and OR ing several bits together for some fill colors. Typically
I would do this with the PAKCIN parameter. Of course, the bytes are
reversed coming from the PLC unless you set the IOMOPT=3 of the MCIN.
Here's the problem...
We are using a simulator to test the displays/control before we put this
into a production system. The simulator uses a AW51 with Interchange to
connect via ethernet to the PLC. The PAKCIN seems to exhibit the same
problem of having the bytes swapped, BUT I can't get the MCIN to accept an
IOMOPT = 3 so I can't swap the bytes (easily, without using more
blocks). Has anyone seen this before?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Regards,
David Johnson
