[foxboro] 21 inch NEC monitor resolution

We are using a 21 inch NEC monitor (NEC 2190UXp) with P92 (PW380) with
I/A version 8.2.

Can we achieve
a.      1600 x 1200 resolution using DVI connection using the short
cable?
b.      1600 x 1200 resolution using DVI (I or D) connection through a
KN+VM extender?
