You guys must think I dropped off the face of the earth! I am so sorry. Today Kris actually told me that there was a message on the answering machine for me. As I went through the old messages, I listened to one from Barb asking for time at the book sale. Not sure when you left that message, Barb, but I'm sure it was quite a while ago. I guess this is the joy of having an absent-minded teenager at home. I completely forgot about the booksale. I just got back into town that weekend after spending some time with my recuperating mother (back surgery) and a visit from my little brother in Tulsa. Spaced out. I see from the newsletter that it was very successful - awesome! I would have liked to work/browse, too. Hearing Barb's message reminded me that I probably never sent the June annual meeting minutes/bylaws updates. I'm attaching in both Word and .pdf format. I imagine that we would post the .pdfs (if they are good), but we should save the bylaws in a central location in case my computer dies - which is the reason that I had a message from the computer people today. I'm now a big believer in backups! Please let me know if any updates are needed. I see that our next meeting is on October 7. I'm pretty sure I can be there, but I need to check my calendar at work. I'm helping another division use webinar, and this particular webinar features our company president as the speaker. I think it is the following Friday, but if it is on the 7th, I'll let you know right away. Happy August. Where has the summer gone??? -kate
