I've read good things about openbravo erp. They have pre-configured virtual appliances for download. It is also included in the Ubuntu partner repository in 10.04, so installation should be simple. I don't have accounting experience or experience with either product... just wanted to throw that out there. ChuqI am planning on attending. Only presentation I have are questions. I am in the process of installing LedgerSMB and have some uncertainties. Perl, Apache, and PostgreSQL seem to have installed.
