I personally use gparted there is a live CD you can run and it handles all
partitions well. it is easy to use, and is in a GUI.

http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ now also includes the Parted Magic live distro
which uses gparted. I just used it to grown a ntfs partition for Windows 2003
in vmware. It was simple to use, and I had no issues.

Subject: [fgmlug] recommendations for partitioning software
Does anyone have experience using free partitioning software? I am looking for
a recommendation. There are a great number that show up when you google the
issue.
