This a complaint from a user
the server based rule which forwards my e-mail to a POP account crashes with
the error "there has been an error in the execution of this rule". Most
times I'm able to restart my computer (client) and fool around with the rule
to "restart"

Very likely, one of the recipients had a rule or other alternate delivery
for P Smith. When P Smith left, the mailbox of that other recipient didn't
update (it's not supposed to since it's a client rule). Check out the
recipients and find out which one had things forwarded to P Smith or
otherwise gave permissions (Calendar is a popular one).

I deleted a user from exchange and whenever a few users send a email
to some else they get the undeliverable message for this deleted person.
