Let me re-phrase my situation. I?ve a 5.5 Exchange server on a Windows 2000
server in a NT 4.0 network. I upgraded my network to 2003 with AD and added an
Exchange server running 2003 to run along with the 5.5 server. No mailbox was
moved to the new 2k3 exchange server but all the users lost the capability to
use the 5.5 server to POP mail, which was running before the change, as the
login credentials were no more recognized even though everyone could log in
using the Exchange profile or OWA. I don?t have the exact error message as I
had to scratch the whole thing and go back to the old setup.

Thanks for the quick response.
