just to be sure, I will tell you what switches I normally use to make sure
you don't run in to problems.

a backup is a must before you start, and I also I wiould take a copy of the
database and the transaction logs.

ESEUTIL:

C:\Program Files\exchsrvr\bin\eseutil /d
ThePathToTheDatabase+TheDatabaseFileName

ISINTEG:

C:\Program Files\exchsrvr\bin\isinteg -s ServerName -fix -test alltests

Let us know if you need some examples.

I had this problem before, and it was due to database corruption. I had to
run eseutil and isinteg to get it back to normal, and this also resolved
some other issue we had before where we can't empty the recycle bin and
what
have you.

hope this help

Problem is store.exe takes cpu over 100% for long time sometime. In the
friday afternoon, only two active users use ActiveSync with exchange
server,
store.exe takes over 80% cpu for two hours, we have to kill store.exe and
restart information store service and cpu is back to normal. Server is
with Compaq PL 380, 2X933 Mhz cpu, 1.2 G memory. Please help.

Thanks

ben
