Exchange fully supports single instance storage.

Subject: [exchangelist] single attachment storage

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Hello

Sorry if this seems stupid, but is exchange 2003 capable of storing
single attachments? I mean as example, a user receives a 5 mb attachment
and then forward to 10 other people inside domain. Does that make the
mailbox store grow up to 50 mb or 5 mb? I have seen veritas has an
option for storing single attachments but don't for exchange itself.

Thank you
