RE: [exchangelist] RE: EX2K & W2K - EX 5.5 WINNT4If you go in Internet Services
Manager and check the security on the Exchange directory -- note the type of
authentication. If the "Windows Integration" is checked along w/ "Basic
Authentication" you will get the domain... it doesn't have to be filled in in
my experience. If this box is unchecked and only Basic Authentication is
checked, you should get only a request for username/password.

Not sure if this is what you want....

Subject: [exchangelist] remove domain/ from OWA logon

    http://www.MSExchange.org/

    Hi All,

We use WNT 6, with Exch 5.5.

When our users logon to OWA, they have to put in "domain/username" and
password. They, however, always forget the "domain/" part and lock themselves
out after three attempts.

Is there someway I can remove the "domain/" part of the OWA logon?

    thanks much, Jared
