You should be considering putting the whole lot in the hands of an
experienced SBS2000 computer person.

My suspicion is that you may be about to change the IDTENT settings -
don't! Call a professional

Subject: [exchangelist] raid in Exchange

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Dear all,

I am new in exchange2000, they say I should put my mailbox in different
harddisk controller to get better performance.

my question is :

1. where is harddisk controller located ? is it on harddisk or is it in
IO Card ?

2. In my IDE Controller there is primary , secondary (both with master
and slave) , if I have 4 harddisks and I put them all on the IDE
Controller . Does it mean I have four different harddisk controller and
can have better performance if I put in one of them ?

Thanks

Boedy
