primary or secondary ex2k server?help!!!!!

halo everyone,
about a week ago, i installed ex2k to serverA(win2k advanced), all client
using outlook, there was no problem
but when i promoted another server (ServerB) to a dc and i installed ex2k to
serverB and then i moved all client's exchange server to ServerB, there was
a problem which is 2 Servers need to run together in order to use outlook.
so if i turn off ServerA, outlook can't find ex2k in ServerB (outlook is
using exchange server in ServerB)
Is there a primary and secondary ex2k server or i am missing something here?
any kind of help would be greatly appreciated
