Unknown version of Outlook so YMMV...

Yes, you can do this with GPO.

Subject: [ExchangeList] prevent outlook archive for all users

Hi,

We run Exchange 2003 on Windows 2003.

we would like to prevent all of our domain users from using the archive
and auto-archive feature, instead relying on the mailbox limits to limit
the amount of mail stored.

Is there a way to do disable outlook archiving on a global scale (i.e. via
Group Policy/ESM), rather than going to each user's desktop and setting it
manually?

Failing that, is there a way, on a global scale (i.e. via Group
Policy/ESM) to set the archive's default location to a network drive
rather than the default local location
(C:\documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\archive.pst)?

kind regards,
adrian
