The biggest competitor to Vista is XP :) For me it was, I went back after using it for 4 months. Outlook was crash at least once a week including other issues.

The initial beta releases, for me, were terrible. They would work fine for a week or two, then begin exhibiting all manner of strange behavior including locking up, sluggishness, stuck mail and much more. I uninstalled it and waited 8 months to try it again. Seems to be a lot better now. Also, Outlook 2007 seemed to work fine on Vista..for me…while on XP it sucked.

I have not located a KB either. . . but I did notice this morning when I was downloading updates that it looked as if there is now a Service Pack 1 for Office 2007 – I hope that might be a resolution but I just installed it – I am still having some issues – mainly when I type it sometimes takes 3 or 4 seconds to record what I am typing – we’ll see if the outbox issue is resolved as I have been very disappointed with this release of the Office software, it is really slow for me – but I think I also need a newer computer – this version seems to be a real resource hog.

This is a documented problem with Outlook 2007 – even without OWA – the actual Outlook 2007 client has problems getting rid of emails in the Outbox – I am having many issues with this while I test this version for our office and as yet have not found a solution except to close Outlook completely and start over. . . If you GOOGLE outlook 2007 Outbox stuck – you will see that it is possibly an indexing issue with outlook that has not yet been resolved.

Wow I just noticed the same issue this morning from an email I sent out yesterday afternoon. It was received by recipients including myself but OWA still shows message in Outbox. I'll going to troubleshoot today; if I get anywhere I will post; also let me know if you find anything as well.
