Thanks Mike! I upgraded to Exchange 2003 SP1. So how long will it take to update? -----Original Message----- From: Michael B. The schedule for updating mailbox properties runs in about a 2 hour cycle by default. If you upgrade to 2003 sp1, this can be changed. Recipient Policies are updated during mailbox maintenance, which I believe is midnight to 4 am by default. You can force this (right click on the policy and see your options). -----Original Message----- From: Lim, Arthus T. [mailto:alim@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, July 29, 2004 8:29 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] message limit http://www.MSExchange.org/ Why is it that when I changed the default sending and receiving message limit to "no limit", I couldn't still send and receive mails with large attachments? Also, why is it that when I added an entry to the "Recepient Policies", it took a day before it finally reflects on my address book? My network is running in 1 tree and 1 forest only so I don't see any reason for the changes I made to take ages before taking effect. Please help me. ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: World of Windows Networking: http://www.windowsnetworking.com Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSEXchange.org Discussion List as: michael@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: World of Windows Networking: http://www.windowsnetworking.com Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSEXchange.org Discussion List as: alim@xxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist
