Yes you have to use 3 party for this... Scanmail is for good for me..

Sorry pal you cant. You have to get 3rd party software. I have same config
and I use scanmail for my antivirus and attachment blocking. I am sure there
is dozens other software that can get the job done for you.

I have MS Exchange 5.5 with service pack 3.Is there any possibility to block
receiving/ outgoing emails using File extension , i.e. .jpg, .bmp,
.jpeg,.avi  etc. If not what is the solution....?
