Is it? I don't have one handy to look at. Can you paste a default LDAP GAL
building filter? (that's also different from standard; maybe I'm just being
picky today.

Who told you the logic was AND? How did they build the GAL that comes with
if that's the case?

ADSIEdit would be a last resort for any solution for most people. Did this
person include documentation on how they expected you to handle this?

hi folks,

Can anybody tell me if it is possible to create a custom LDAP query in 2k
that shows users AND groups in a global address list? I know that the
standard filter logic is 'AND' and not 'OR' which is the cause of my
problems someone suggested i use adsiedit to edit the ldap query so i can
specifiy an or. is this right? if so i can't see where the gal filters end
up in adsiedit

thanks
mark
