how to see public calendar schedules

Hi All,
Does anyone know how to view public calendar free/busy
times?
Basically, my users want to be able to open up their
own calendar, go to "attendees" and then type in the
name of our public calendars to see when a free/busy
time is for them to schedule a meeting.
Right now, when someone does that it shows a squiggly
line indicating that data for that calendar is not
available.
Any ideas?
