Well, that banner indicates that they have a PIX Firewall in place,
changing
the banner is really no form of security, but if you go to the Microsoft
Knowledgebase at http://support.microsoft.com and search for SMTP Banner
you
will find the answer..

port 25

Hello,

I have two exchange 2000 servers. I would like to hide the name of the
servers when or if someone telnet's into port 25 to something like this:

220*******************************************************220***********
****
**************************************************

Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

Thanks in advance
Joe
