I wasn't aware that you'd need to do anything. I know if you delete a user and
recreate, you need to go into the exchange manager and reconnect his mailbox to
his account. All that would involve is right-clicking the mailbox, select
reconnect, and then select his domain user account. You can check that and see
but I'm not sure that is your problem.

Subject: [exchangelist] former disabled user can't log into mailbox

Hi All

I disabled users AD account after he left last week.
He returned this week. After I re-enabled his accuont
and changed his passord, he cannot get back into his
old mailbox.

How do I go about getting him back into his old
mailbox? I'm running Exchange 2000.

Thank you! Jared
