RE: exchnage server unavailable

I had the same error message this past weekend.  There is a utility that I got 
from Microsoft that I installed on both the PDC and the Exchange server that 
pretty much identified the source of the problem(s).  
 
I'll email you the file when I get to work in about 2 hours.  
 
In the meantime, you may want to your DNS on the Exchange server to see where 
it's pointing to.

        Your Outlook could be looking for the old server, did you give the 
rebuilt
        Exchange server the same computer name and IP?

        Hello
        My excahnge server runs on an aditional DC,the hard disk of my excahnge
        server crashed, after replacing the harddisk, installing w2k, sp1 and
        exchange, when I try to start microsoft outlook XP I get the error 
message
        "Your exchange server is unavailable" I have checked all the services, 
they
        are all running.
        What can be the problem,please help.
