May be virus scanning. Try stopping your antivirus at least for the
duration of the backup, to test.

I have an exchange 5.5 on win nt 4 and getting the following error
messages when backing up mailboxes using Veritas Backup Exec.
verify option is not enabled..
Any ideas/suggestions to fix this.
